Assignment 5b. Pretend you are going on an archaelogical assignment. You are about to excavate one of the early caves used by primitive humans. Write a newspaper article describing your findings.

Caveman Home Found!
“I didn’t know what I had found until I saw ‘dem bones’!
In what was either a stroke of luck or a foolish mistake, mountain climber Jack Robinson took shelter from a fierce storm inside a supposed bear cave and found the biggest archaeological site dating from the Stone Age yet! Inside were several carved and beautifully-detailed models of saber-toothed cats. There also were crude digging tools too that suggested that the cave dated back to the Agricultural Revolution. There were many, many cave paintings of ground sloths, saber-tooths, mammoths and more, all in yellow, black, brown and red plant dyes. Among all these treasures were the bones of lots of Neanderthals. Baby Neanderthals, juvenile Neanderthals, and adults. Jack Robinson was given an archaeologist Bachelor’s degree in return.
